HIPA takes talented photographers on Wildlife photography adventure
Following on from the November workshop titled ‘Discovering the Unknown’ by Kuwaiti Wildlife photographer, Majed Sultan, The Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) has shortlisted a number of photographers to take part in a practical 6-hour wildlife photography workshop at the Emirates Park Zoo in Abu Dhabi. The practical workshop was concluded by a follow-up session at the HIPA headquarters in Downtown Dubai the following day. The second day session was also attended by His Excellency Abdulrahman Al Owais, UAE Minister of Health and Cahirman of the HIPA Board of Trustees. Al Owais honoured Sultan at the end of the workshop and praised him for his continued efforts in the field of photography training.
Commenting on the practical workshop, the Secretary General of HIPA His Excellency Ali bin Thalith said “ We continuously strive to praise and reward the most hard working and passionate photographers who attend our workshops by offering them advanced training and advice to develop their skills and passion for photography”. Bin thalith continued, “HIPA will continue to support and encourage local and international photographers and we have some very exciting plans in place for the coming period to help photographers reach the highest possible levels in the artform”.
