افتتاح معرضي “أهل الجنة” في مدينة مونتيفرجي الإيطالية حيث افتتحه السيد ريكاردو رئيس FIAP
During my visit to the Omo tribes, i realized how simple and king they are, pure thinking and honest treatment, they are hard working people whom actually work for living in a way hat no other can imagine, simple clothes made from animals skin and mostly barefoot, they are pastoralists in general and they do some agriculture as well.
you realize from the minute you see them that they are the people of the promised paradise, you can only see the view and feel it in a (black and white) way of thinking as the answers you seek can’t be found in colors! It’s a life filled with special feelings you can’t get it to be more pure.
I’m happy and pleased to see my work being published documenting the cultures of these forgotten simple people, documenting people’s life is my passion, and my ultimate pleasure is to convey the message in a way that touches the hearts of the people as soon as they see it, Mamdooh Al Saleh is a man whom believes that art is a mission of humanity, and my participation in the international competitions is my way to distribute my work and the stories I document via my lens.
I enjoy taming my soul by exposing myself to these cultures, and i love exploration and adventures. During my last trips to Africa, i used high quality equipments and gear, in addition to my experience and lots of patience with the help of a team from the country I’m visiting to help me with the location setting and handling the equipments. another technique i use is to break the ice with the tribes by joining them in their village during their daily activities and spending the night camping with them.
I always say, a photographer have to handle his gear like a musician handles his flute! the more he is capable of handling his gear the more he will play a music that captures the hearts.
