تقع في وسط مدينة حماة في مدخل حي الطوافرة الأثري في مكان يتميز بجمال الطبيعة والعمارة .هي ثاني أكبر ناعورة بحماة بعد ناعورة المحمدية حيث يبلغ قطرها 20م وعدد صناديقها /120/صندوقا وكان يصل ماؤها إلى معظم أحياء حماة.هذه الناعورة بنيت في جمادي الأولى سنة ٨٥٧ هجري بحسب نص كتابي نحت على القناطرها الحجرية ولكن يعتقد أن هذا النص هو لترميم الناعورة والبناء يعود لفترة زمنية أقدم.بجوارها تتواجد ناعورة المؤيدة الصغيرة و ناعورة العثمانية بالإضافة لطاحونة الأرامل .سبب تسمية هذة الناعورة بالمأمورية فيعود وبحسب سجلات المحكمة الشرعية بحماة أن خللا اكتشف في توزيع حصص مياه هذه الناعورة فتم تكليف مأمور من البلدية كمسؤول عنها لتقويم الخلل بدلا من الشخص الذي كان مكلفا من طرف الأهالي.الجدير بالذكر أن مدينة حماة تحتوي حاليا على ١٧ ناعورة تمتد على طول مجرى النهر الذي يخترق المدينة ويقسمها لقسمين هما ( الحاضر والسوق) وكل ناعورة لها اسم تعرف فيه ويميزها عن غيرها.Al Maamouria waterwell:It is located in the city center of Hama, at the entrance to the ancient Al-Tafra neighborhood, in a place characterized by the beauty of nature and architecture.It is the second largest waterwheel in Hama after the Naoura al-Muhammadiyah, with a diameter of 20 meters and the number of boxes / 120 / boxes and its water reached most neighborhoods of Hama.This waterfall was built in Jumada al-Ula in the year 857 AH, according to a biblical text carved on its stone arches, but it is believed that this text is for the restoration of the waterfall and the building dates back to an older period of time.Next to it are the small Naoura al-Mu`ayadah, the Ottoman Na نura, in addition to the widows’ mill.The reason for naming this naoura as the tax office is that according to the records of the Sharia court in Hama, a defect was discovered in the distribution of the water ration of this waterfall, so a commissioner from the municipality was assigned as responsible for it to correct the defect instead of the person who was assigned by the people.It is worth noting that the city of Hama currently contains 17 water wheels that extend along the course of the river that cuts through the city and divides it into two parts (Al-Hader and Al-Souq) and each Naoura has a name that is known in it and distinguishes it from others.
