The Second term of Kuwait Grand Photography contest
Under the Patronage of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak al-Hamad Al-Sabah. And the Direct Support of His Excellency Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-SabahAfter a great success with the first term of Kuwait grand Photography Contest, KGPC1 which was launched Feb 1st 2014, closed March 31st and announced the winners April 15th 2014.The contest had set the record straight to be the one and only photography event in Kuwait. KGPC1 2014 has recorded 960 contestants and 4700 photos. The success is not measured by the numbers only, but the photography level was amazing, and many of the chosen top 50 photos, had won several reputable international contests after our announcement.. Photography in Kuwait never been bigger than where it is today, and the level of photographers in Kuwait is among the best worldwide if not the best. It’s time to unveil the second term of Kuwait Grand Photography Contest “KGPC2” This contest wouldn’t have seen the light without the support and belief of our sponsors, their social responsibilities and giving is endless. Phoenix Services headed by Mr. Jassim Jassim the founder of Kuwait Grand Photography Contest taking the initiative to organize the second term, and with the support of our sponsors we are heading to be among the world’s most prestigious photography contests. This year KGPC2 is not limited on Kuwait only, but any citizen or a resident of the countries of the GCC are entitled to join the contest.
